About the event
Under curator Casey McKeel's leadership, Notre Dame of Maryland University faculty, staff, and students visited MCIW this fall to lead workshops in painting and collage and to work with the incarcerated women to make art that speaks to their experiences. The resulting artworks will be on display at Gormley Gallery from January 23 to March 3, 2023, and will then be installed at MCIW. This reception celebrates the opening of the show and will feature remarks by curator Casey McKeel. It is free and open to the public.
